Residential Lettings Explained

Moore & York Lettings offer a wide range of houses, bungalows, flats and apartments to rent throughout Leicester and Leicestershire.

We are members of the Tenants Deposit Scheme which gives peace of mind to both our Landlord and Tenant clients.

During the last decade there has been a significant increase in “buy to let” activity as an increasing number of investors have decided to purchase residential property both as an investment decision and to form part of their pension strategy for the future. This has led to a considerable increase in the number of properties available and has increased supply in the rental market.

It is essential therefore to appoint the right Letting Agent. Moore and York have dedicated lettings office on Rutland Street in the city centre and a second office in Loughborough. We are ideally placed to give accurate, expert advice to Landlords on both the rental value and standard required for a property to achieve its maximum rental value.

With the significant increase in house prices in the UK during recent years and with an increasing population, the increase in demand for good quality rented accommodation is likely to be a long term trend.

How to apply for a property:

Firstly find a property from our selection of houses, flats, apartments and other rented accommodation within Leicestershire which can be found here.

Once you have identified and viewed a suitable property through Moore and York Lettings, you will need to make an application. An application form can be downloaded here, and once completed can either be posted, emailed, faxed or delivered to our office in either Leicester or Loughborough. A member of our team will ensure that you have filled out all the information required. The application fee is £150.00 plus VAT.
